中巴建交65周年之际，巴方陆军参谋长率团访华，中央军委副主席范长龙、军委联合参谋部参谋长房峰辉、陆军司令李作成三位上将陆续与他会晤。
此外，正在海外出访的海军司令吴胜利上将也将压轴一站放在了巴基斯坦。

疾风知劲草，烈火见真心。阿西姆表示，“无论我们来中国，还是中国朋友到巴基斯坦，两军间的每一次互动，都会让双方的关系更上一层楼。”
