　　据了解，起火的是一栋独立建筑的外立面，以及紧贴该楼搭建的一间车库。但距起火点约10米的地方就是一个加油站，一旦火势蔓延后果难以设想。

　　现场一名老师介绍，发现起火后，学校立即组织正在上课的学生疏散，700多名学生在3分钟里全部转移到安全地带。

　　首先接警到场的是大学西路派出所的民警，得知学校师生已经安全疏散，民警们随后开始划定警戒线、隔离无关人员。而在附近执勤的交警也对附近路段实施交通管制。

　　几分钟后消防人员也赶到现场，并很快控制了火情。18时30分许，现场明火被扑灭。

　　在现场记者发现，这间车库在此次火灾中被烧毁，车库内停放的一辆大客车也被烧得只剩下框架。火灾没有造成人员伤亡。
