石应康教授，男，1951年出生于医学世家，博士研究生导师，国务院医改专家咨询委员会委员，中华医学会副会长，国务院政府特殊津贴获得者，四川省学术和技术带头人，曾任中华医学会胸心血管外科分会主任委员，中国医师协会副会长。荣获“全国先进工作者”、“卫生部有突出贡献中青年专家”、“全国优秀医院院长”等荣誉称号。
