　　“BBC国际台中文制作团队一共26人，都是采编人员。该台计划在伦敦撤销16个中文部职位，即在香港只设10个职位，且需要竞聘上岗”，一名不愿透露姓名的员工告诉《环球时报》记者，BBC国际台希望在今年10月底启动这项计划。

　　据介绍，按照英国法律规定，在管理层作出决定后，要首先向员工宣布，有3个月的咨询期。BBC国际台是在4月21日内部宣布这项决定的，也就是说，现在已经进入咨询期。

　　这被称作是BBC中文部近来遭受的第二起沉重打击。去年11月，英国政府宣布向BBC国际台每年追加投入8500万英镑，增加BBC国际台在东亚、东南亚地区的新闻覆盖，希望增强在这些地区的话语权。与之形成鲜明对比的是，过去10年，BBC中文部被大规模裁减7次。
