据了解,此次论坛是以“探索全球课程方向,助力学校教育改善”为主题,21世纪教育研究院将先后召开“数学、语言与文学、英语、自然科学、社会科、艺术”等学科系列国际学术论坛,通过主题报告、报告点评、国内外专家课堂、学术沙龙等方式集中呈现某一课程领域的最新成就,为一线学校和教师提供丰富、高端、实用的国际课程论坛。

“数学不仅跟个人生活有关系,也跟公众生活有关,数学作为一个工具,可以让我们这个世界变得更好,可在现实当中,数学并没有得到很好的体现。”据21世界教育研究院副院长王雄介绍,数学作为一门学科,有科学、文化价值,对培养人的理性思维有极其重要的作用,只有更多人在一起合作才会让这门学科有丰硕的成果,并在社会上产生重要的影响。

何继刚表示,开设数学这门课程最初的出发点是想培养学生有一个数学的眼光,让学生有一个数学的思维,能够用数学解决一些实际问题,帮助学生继续学习,在未来的发展能够发挥作用就可以了,但在他的教学过程中,他发现不少学生并不热爱这门学科,很多学生是在有强大外力的影响下去学习,并非是由心去热爱学习这门学科。

“有很多优秀的学生就是学不好数学,但不代表他们不优秀,可能他们对数学就是没有兴趣,不愿意投入那么多时间,如果我们能把数学的标准降低一些,可能这样的学生会学得很好,还是目前的评价体系过于单一。”何继刚指出,一张试卷并不能真正做到确定学生是否有数学的眼光?是否有一定的思维能力?在后期学习过程中,数学知识是否够用?大众数学是应该针对不同的人群,动态地去让学生学到有用的数学,在这新的课改中应当呈现。“我建议,适当降低一点难度,让高考对数学的要求不要那么高,数学也可以考得容易一点,这样就可以让所有人都喜欢学习数学。”

在提到新的课程标准修改中,课程设计了必修和选修,其中必修针对所有学生,作为毕业的要求,只要完成了必修即可高中毕业。

“必修课程应大众化,只要学到数学知识,达到基本的数学素养即可,这是属于非常大众化的课程,作为每一个公民必须掌握的。”何继刚指出,选修分为一和二,其中选修一与必修合在一起,是高考的内容,选修二分为5种可选的课程,如A针对理工类,B针对人文学科......E就是校本课程,不同的人学习不同的数学,让数学课程设置多样化。
