Capital winter more solid


In fact, I think this is very appropriate for business years, very good business year. Of course we know that last year, we see a so-called capital bubbles, see we are entering winter capital. But this year than last year, we can see that entrepreneurs are more solid, better understanding the nature of the business.


Last year, we have seen many phenomena, including O2O areas, including in the area of hardware, we have seen almost as many entrepreneurs with a so-called ToVC model, depicting a very large amount of users, users can create tremendous value, use this method to achieve a very high valuations. In all angels, VC for all age, it also got the attention of a lot of capital, also got a lot of money, but last year some of the virtual-high capital, exaggerate their business entrepreneurs, they don't really keep a user, after entering the winter capital ran into problems.


After a years, we of entrepreneurs increasingly pragmatic, we no longer consider how created huge of user volume to gets more of capital, more of entrepreneurs I see of is real in wants to created user value, we put more of time spent in how let user retained down, to user left to of welfare, more can caught user of just needed, these aspects are is entrepreneurs very good of growth.


In the hardware world we don't see and entrepreneur merely lose money to get users, O2O we see more entrepreneurs in consideration of user's costs and allow users to retain, allows users to make multiple purchases and what, in other areas we see more entrepreneurs in the trial, understanding the user's needs, I think this is a very good sign.


Many people have asked me if this year is capital of winter, if you are entrepreneur, raised more difficult today, company valuations may not be higher than last year, not much growth of cases valuations even lower than last year. But I think this environment for those who really want to start, entrepreneurs really wants to create customer value. So I think we in the capital of winter can be seen to which entrepreneurs are able to win business in the men's Marathon.

But I also hope that we can be in "public undertaking, the much anticipated innovation" under the environment of the real Unicorn can create huge value companies, future stars, BAT in the future, these companies are very, very rare.


Public business may only have 1 per thousand entrepreneurs should go in this direction to go, I think both of the other founders are doing services, design or set up shop in Taobao, or other platform-dependent small businesses. 35 people were successful, a bad one may need to do it again, maybe only one individual doing this business really is all the possibility of truly make great entrepreneurs is still very small. So I would suggest that entrepreneurs support the number and orientation of the case also want to know whether you really are that 1 per thousand.


Views on business in Southwest China


There is no doubt that there are many excellent universities in Southwest China, Chengdu as an example there are many very good schools, there are so many young entrepreneurs, we have a lot of projects in Chengdu, especially games.   3月31日,在ChinaBang Awards 2016“亚洲创新企业论坛”上,创新工场李开复通过视频分享了对创业的观点。以下为分享摘要:


  资本寒冬让创业者更扎实


  其实,我觉得今年是非常合适的创业年,非常好的创业年。当然我们知道,去年我们看到了所谓的资本泡沫,看到我们进入了资本寒冬。但是今年相对去年比,我们看到的创业者是更扎实,更了解商业本质。


  去年我们看到很多现象,包括在O2O领域,包括在硬件领域,都看到很多创业者用着几乎像所谓ToVC的模式,描绘一个非常巨大的用户量,用户量能创造巨大的价值,用这个方法得到了很高的估值。在今天全民天使、全民VC的时代,确实也得到了很多资本的关注,也拿到了很多的钱,但是去年的一些资本虚高,夸大自己生意的创业者,他们并没有真正留住用户,进入资本寒冬之后碰到了各种问题。


  经过一年,我们的创业者越来越务实,我们不再考虑怎么创造巨大的用户量来获取更多的资本,更多的创业者我看到的是真正在想创造用户价值,我们把更多的时间花在怎么让用户留存下来,给用户留下来的福利,更能抓住用户的刚需,这些方面都是创业者非常好的成长。


  在硬件界我们也不再看到,创业者仅仅用赔钱的方法得到用户,在O2O界我们看到的创业者也更多的在思考获取用户的成本和让用户留存,让用户来多次购买和得到什么,在其他领域我们也看到更多的创业者在不断摸索、了解用户的刚需,我觉得这是非常好的现象。


  很多人问我今年是不是资本的寒冬,如果你是创业者,今天肯定募资更困难,公司估值可能不会比去年更高,没有很大成长的情况下可能比去年估值还要低。但是我觉得这样的环境反而适合那些真正想要创业,真正想要创造用户价值的创业者。所以我觉得在资本寒冬里我们反而可以看出来哪些创业者是能够在这个创业的马拉松长跑中胜出的。


  双创中只有千分之一成为独角兽


  过去一两年,最响亮的口号就是“大众创业、万众创新”,这个口号确实是点燃了全国创业的热火,我也相信越来越多的创业企业会产生,十年之后小公司更多,大公司更少,所以肯定是一个创业未来的十年。


  但是我也希望大家能够在“大众创业、万众创新”的环境之下真正能创造出来拥有巨大价值的独角兽公司、未来的巨星、未来的BAT,这些公司会是非常非常稀少的。


  大众创业之中可能只有千分之一的创业者应该往这个方向来走,其他的创业者我觉得无论是做服务业、设计业或者是在淘宝开店,或者是其他的依赖别的平台的小创业。成功了三五个人,做得不好也许需要重来,也许只有一个人的个体户在做,其实这种小创业才真正是全民的可能性,真正能够创伟大公司的创业者还是非常少的。所以我建议各位创业者在拥护这个口号和方向的情况下也想清楚自己是不是真的是那千分之一。


  对于西南地区创业的看法


  毫无疑问,西南地区有很多国内优秀高校,以成都作为例子就有多所非常好的学校,也有很多年轻的创业者,我们在成都也投了很多项目,尤其是游戏项目。可能其中最著名的就是龙源网络,因为不到30岁的创业者李龙飞因为创业了这个估值非常高的公司,成为了福布斯杂志选拔进入30岁以下亚洲顶尖青年的角色。我们对他的角色和对其他成都年轻创业者的成就,感到非常的自豪。


  同时我们要了解到,在美国有硅谷,在国内有中关村,中关村之外可能其次的是深圳,虽然成都的创业环境和其他的西南城市也一直在快速提升,但是毕竟一个生态环境跟地理位置是有关的。所以大部分的资源、大部分的VC、大部分顶尖的活动都还是在北京为主发生。所以我给西南区创业者的建议,一方面可以庆幸你的环境越来越好,但是同时要常常去北京,还是要拥抱一些来自北京,也就是中国“硅谷”这样的地区,接触各种想法、媒体、投资人,这样你才会越来越好。
