NTT Data Announces $ 3.06 billion acquisition of Dell-Dell IT services, NTT-IT information

Beijing time on March 28, the nightly news, and NTT subsidiary NTT Data from core departments on Monday submitted to the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) declared in the file, to 3.055 billion dollars acquisition of Dell′s IT services unit.

NTT Data said in a document, the acquisition is designed to strengthen the company′s business in North America, further strengthening the cloud services and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. NTT Data does not give the date of acquisition. Documents show that as part of the purchase contract, NTT Data will be retained by Dell (main) in North America and India′s 28,000 employees.

The deal is NTT Data′s largest mergers and acquisitions transactions so far, help improve NTT Data in Japan outside revenue. At present, due to population reduction, and greying has affected Japan′s economic growth.

Dell IT services was formerly known as Perot Systems, Dell in 2009 for $ 3.9 billion offer, primarily for hospitals and Government departments to provide technical advisory services. As Dell′s non-core business, selling IT services can help companies cut more than 40 billion dollars in debt as part of thus acquiring data storage provider EMC brought a heavy debt burden.

Dell announced in October 2015, will be approximately $ 67 billion acquisition of data storage vendor EMC, this is the largest deal in global technology markets. After the deal, Dell will bear the huge debts of $ 49.5 billion. Last November, news that Dell plans to sell about $ 10 billion of non-core assets, including software and services.

NTT Data在文件中称，此次收购旨在强化公司在北美市场的业务，进一步加强云服务和商业流程外包(BPO)服务。NTT Data并未给出具体的收购日期。文件显示，作为收购合约的一部分，NTT Data将继续聘用戴尔(主要)位于北美和印度的28000名员工。

这笔交易是迄今为止NTT Data进行的最大一笔并购交易，有助于提高NTT Data在日本以外市场的营收。当前，由于人口数量减少，且趋于老龄化，已经影响了日本经济的增长。

戴尔IT服务部门的前身为Perot Systems，是戴尔在2009年以39亿美元收购的，主要为医院和政府部门提供技术咨询服务。作为戴尔的非核心业务，出售IT服务部门能帮助公司削减400多亿美元债务中的一部分，从而缓解收购数据存储提供商EMC带来的沉重债务负担。
