此前，位于温岭市大溪镇佛陇工业区的温岭市捷宇鞋材有限公司发生房屋坍塌事件。公诉机关认为，徐福林作为温岭市捷宇鞋材有限公司直接负责的主管人员，对存有事故隐患的劳动安全设施不采取相应的措施，因而发生了重大伤亡事故，应当以重大劳动安全事故罪追究刑事责任。(央视记者 赵奕 )
2015年7月4日16时08分，位于台州温岭市大溪镇佛陇村的温岭市捷宇鞋材有限公司发生厂房坍塌事故，坍塌面积约2000余平方米，事故共造成14人死亡、33人受伤，直接经济损失1100余万元。
