在由Reddit制作的一段短片里，苹果联合创始人兼Apple I和Apple II电脑的开发者史蒂夫·沃兹尼亚克激情讲述了自己成长为一名出色工程师的历程。然而将这一历程与当前的科技创业热相对比，沃兹认为当今商业学院所提供的教育以及所强调的东西完全是不可取的。
“如今，几乎每所大学的商学院都会开展一堂称成为‘创业学’的课程。”沃兹表示。沃兹特别清晰地强调了“创业学”这个用词。
“他们有时候会教育学生如何拟定计划，譬如：有了创意，然后就开始融资，然后再招聘大量工程师……”沃兹表示，“似乎任何工程师都可以。他们甚至可以在俄罗斯，在印度，在世界的任何地方。”
“这种想法是不对的！”沃兹强调，“从创业的一开始就应该要有工程师的参与。”
沃兹心中的完美企业需要遵循一个“铁三角”定律，即：团队里要有工程师、经营者和市场专家。只有满足了三项要求，创业才会持续，才会有价值。而且，这三类人还需要同处一个地点，在精神上也要能达成共识。
