3月17日下午消息，美的集团股份有限公司今日公告称，已与东芝株式会社(以下简称“东芝”)就收购其白色家电业务事项达成谅解备忘录，美的将通过收购获得东芝白色家电业务控股权。

公告称，美的与东芝集团在压缩机、小家电、变频器等领域有超过20年的战略合作。此次收购东芝白色家电业务，有利于美的集团落实全球经营战略。通过美的和东芝家电业务的整合，美的将在包括日本、东南亚在内的重要市场取得业务规模和分销渠道，并在专利技术应用及品牌方面获得东芝的支持，从而进一步推动与夯实美的集团全球运营的基础，提升全球竞争实力。

美的还称，本次收购的相关事项仍在进一步商议确定过程之中，预计可于本月底签署正式协议。

此外，东芝公司15日刚刚发布消息称，又发现7起财务造假问题，税前利润总计虚报了58亿日元(约合人民币3亿元)，处分了参与违规的40名员工。一系列财务造假导致的虚增利润总额包括2015年发现的2248亿日元在内，税前总计达到2306亿日元。
