在国内热议银行机构对IBM服务器的依赖是否威胁安全之际，中国服务器生产商浪潮集团发起了吸引IBM客户的行动。有报道称，浪潮在济南首次公布一项名为“I2I计划”（IBM to Inspur）的计划，目标是全面接管IBM X业务。

尽管分析人士认为，银行业高端服务器选择余地不大，很难找到替代产品。但有消息称，中国邮政储蓄银行去年3月已开始试点使用浪潮制造的国产服务器产品。

浪潮称，从去年开始，浪潮在金融等行业替换部分IBM服务器及相关设施。包括中国建设银行、邮政储蓄银行在内的多家国有银行储蓄所已经试点使用浪潮制造的国产服务器。
