　　【财新网】(记者?王和岩)新华社安徽分社副社长、总编辑宋斌4月28日晚19时许被发现在其办公室身亡。财新记者从多个渠道获知了这一消息。

　　目前，新华社及安徽有关方面尚未公布宋斌的死亡消息及其原因。据其同事称，昨天(28日)傍晚时分，有警车停靠在宋斌办公室所在的新华社安徽分社大院里。

　　据了解宋斌的同行介绍，他这个人为人“比较豪爽，能喝酒”。新华社总社一位与宋有过接触的人士也说，感觉宋斌性格比较豁达，对于他身亡的消息非常震惊。

　　据其同事介绍，宋斌大约在1984年左右毕业于安徽大学中文系，在新华社安徽分社工作多年，1998年长江流域发生特大洪水，宋斌曾赴一线报道，因为表现突出，曾在当年光明日报的通讯《丹心一篇谱壮歌——记奋战在抗洪抢险第一线的新闻记者们》中惊鸿一现。

　　宋斌作为新华社安徽分社的记者，报道领域涉及社会、经济等很多领域。

　　2009年，皖北煤电集团授予新华社高级记者宋斌及其同事于杰“荣誉矿工”称号。皖北煤电集团称，宋斌“多年来关注安徽煤矿的安全生产与企业发展，不仅平日经常深入矿区采访，把握煤炭经济脉搏，而且连续多年放弃春节休假，坚持深入皖北矿区百米井下采访，与矿工一起坚守岗位迎接新年，共发出文字、图片、视频通稿百余篇，为皖北煤电的安全生产鼓与呼，与煤矿结下浓厚感情，深受矿工爱戴”。
