　　新华网珀斯3月24日电（记者张小军 黄书波）中国驻珀斯总领馆24日下午召开新闻发布会，中国驻澳大使馆马航失联客机事件珀斯工作小组发布公报说，中国军机在此次搜寻过程中，发现了白色物体，但目前物体的情况正在核实当中。

　　公报同时强调，当天的天气情况很不好，有关探测仪器探测到物体时是在9000米的高空。

　　北京时间24日凌晨3时13分，中国空军伊尔－76飞机率先从澳大利亚皮尔斯空军基地起飞，中国空军珀斯方向搜寻任务正式展开。在搜寻行动中，机组人员在南印度洋海域发现两块白色漂浮物，位置在东经95．1113度，南纬42．5453度，另有一些较小白色碎片散布在方圆数公里海面上。

　　军机立即通报澳方指挥中心和中国“雪龙”号科考船，并请求澳方协调其他飞机前往进一步核实。24日下午2时30分，参与马航失联客机搜索任务的两架中国军机均已返回到澳大利亚珀斯国际机场。
