  藏身广清大道边的山坡底 面积达300多平方米


  本报清远讯 (记者曹菁摄影报道)日前,清远市博物馆文物普查工作人员根据银盏坳村老村民提供的线索,在广清公路边发现一处日军侵华留下的弹药库,并对遗址进行了详细勘察记录。


  据清远县志记载,1939年10月16日,粤北第一次战役打响。日军先后在军田、狮岭、银盏坳一线进攻,中国军队防守于粤北全线。1940年5月间,日军再次进犯粤北。这处弹药库就是日军当年侵占银盏坳一带,控制清远到银盏公路时兴修的。


  弹药库隐藏在广清大道边的山坡底,洞口被杂草遮住,外面看只是一米见方的洞口,可是走过一条70多米深的隧道后,里面竟是一个300多平方米的地下仓库。据老人回忆,这个深洞就是日军储藏弹药的军火库遗址。


  当地老人赖挺骧证实自己小时候看到洞口前有日本兵站岗,村民不小心走近就会被日本兵端枪瞄准恐吓。
