　　中新社清远3月20日电 (记者 李凌)发生于广东英德的农民工讨薪被打死事件经媒体披露后，引起当地政府重视。记者20日从英德市警方获悉，包括主犯李某坤在内的4名疑犯已被抓获，案件正在进一步审理中。

　　3月6日，赵智明等21名广西籍农民工，到位于英德市郊的中铁十五局广乐高速T22标项目部，讨要被拖欠工钱。据悉，自2013年9月起，赵智明等人长期被拖欠工资，几经讨要，到春节后仍欠薪14万多元人民币。

　　当日13时许，再次讨薪未果的赵智明等人离开后十几分钟，一伙手拿砍刀和铁棍的人截住赵智明等人进行暴打、砍杀。

　　英德市公安局称，当日警方接警后赶赴现场，发现赵智明(男，32岁、广西人)、唐阿明(男23岁、广西人)被砍伤在地上，警方立即通知120救护车到现场救治，后经医生检查证实赵智明因失血过多死亡。

　　伤者唐阿明最先被送入英德市中医院医治，后转入英德市人民医院，目前因伤势严重，已转往广州就医。

　　经警方调查取证查明，当天中午带头打人者为李某坤等4人，均为项目所在地附近城南廊步村人。其中李某坤是中铁十五局项目办的员工，根据合同显示为该项目部的材料承包运输商。目前李某坤、李某镜、李某清、张某成4人已被警方抓获，尚有3名疑犯在逃。

　　英德市警方称，审讯中，李某坤称其与死者赵智明等人当日因午饭问题产生矛盾，并对指使其弟李某清纠集社会人员殴打赵智明等人，致赵智明死亡和唐阿明受伤的犯罪事实供认不讳。目前，李某坤、张某成等人已被依法刑事拘留，案件追逃和审理工作正在进一步进行中。警方表示，因有部分疑犯尚未抓捕归案，所以案件的具体案情和进展不便透露。(完)
