　　2月14日，恰逢中国农历元宵节与西方情人节重合。当晚7点，中午刚抵达北京的克里在与中国国家主席习近平、国务院总理李克强、国务委员杨洁篪和外交部长王毅会面后，比预计时间晚了近一个半小时后抵达新闻发布会现场。《第一财经日报》记者观察到，克里的表情相对自如，难见其之前连轴转的紧张与疲惫。

　　在此前与习近平的会面中，克里转达了奥巴马致习近平的新年祝福，表示奥巴马总统期待在不久的将来同习近平主席再次会晤并在新的一年里同习近平主席保持密切交往。

　　习近平请克里转达对奥巴马总统的问候并请他转告奥巴马总统：中方坚定致力于同美方共同构建中美新型大国关系，愿同美方加强对话，增进互信，深化合作，妥处分歧。

　　克里告诉在场的记者，他与中国各级别的领导人进行了会谈，几乎涉及了所有中美双方各领域关切的主题，“在我看来，今天的会谈很有建设性，气氛非常好”。

　　缓解亚太紧张局势

　　在强调了美国国内对于美在亚太地区领导力角色均达成共识后，克里表示，美国与中国的合作伙伴关系对美国为该区域提供稳定和繁荣非常关键。

　　王毅介绍了东海、南海问题的历史经纬，阐述了中方严正立场，强调中国坚持走和平发展道路，坚持奉行睦邻友好政策，坚持致力于通过谈判协商和平解决有关争端。同时，谁也不能动摇我们捍卫国家主权和领土完整的决心。希望美方尊重历史事实，尊重中方的主权权益，客观公正地看待有关问题，切实不选边站队，以实际行动增进有关国家间互信，维护地区和平稳定。

　　力推气候合作

　　根据2月15日发布的《中美气候变化联合声明》，双方已就工作组下启动五个领域实施计划达成一致，包括载重汽车和其他汽车减排、智能电网、碳捕集利用和封存、温室气体数据的收集和管理、建筑和工业能效。
