　　新华网“雪龙”号2月2日电(记者张建松) 经过正月初一、初二两昼夜的奋战，中国第30次南极科学考察队圆满完成长城站的卸货任务，于2日离开长城站，前往阿根廷乌斯怀亚进行补给。

　　“雪龙”号于1月29日抵达长城站。卸货期间正值中华民族最为重要的传统节日——春节。在紧张卸货的空隙间，科考队员还将两年前释放的一个海洋观测潜标顺利打捞上来。

　　许多科考队员和船员争分夺秒昼夜奋战，紧紧抓住有利天气时机，仅用了60多个小时，就将1000多吨物资和油料卸运到长城站，同时将长城站的十多个集装箱垃圾和多辆报废汽车运回船上，准备带回国内处理。

　　“雪龙”号船长王建忠表示，长城站卸货任务一次性圆满完成，基本上弥补了“雪龙”号因救援行动而耽误的时间，为完成后续科考任务赢得了主动权。长城站距离乌斯怀亚约600海里，“雪龙”号计划于4日抵达乌斯怀亚，其间要穿越著名的德雷克海峡。

　　连接太平洋和大西洋的德雷克海峡，是世界上最宽的海峡，同时也是世界著名的风暴区。环绕南极大陆的西风带气旋，从宽阔的南大洋进入狭窄的海峡内，遭遇到“瓶颈”，因此德雷克海峡内经常是狂风巨浪、十分凶险，素有“死亡海峡”之称。
