IFI Claims Patent Services based on patent data provider data, IBM for 21 consecutive years, received United States patent number the most in. However, Google patent acquisition is also accelerating the pace of 2013 rankings climb to 11th place.

According to IFI Claims Patent Services, IBM last year amounted to obtained 6,809 United States patents, 6,478 5% increase compared with last year.

Ranking second is Samsung Electronics, 2013-the company obtained 4,675 United States patents. Canon to 3,825 in third, followed by Sony (3,098), Microsoft (2,660), Panasonic (2,601), Toshiba (2,416), Hon Hai (2,279), Qualcomm (2,103) and LG Electronics (1947).

Last year Google received United States patent number 60%, at 1851, ranking rose from 21st of 2012 to 2013, in 11th place. IFI ranking top 50 place Google in 2012 for the first time, when the patent number 1151.

Apple in 2013, received United States patent number 1775, the 13th ranked far above the 2011.

IFI's report shows that 2013 United States history records the total number of patents. United States Patent and trademark office annual amounts granted 277,835 patents, representing a per cent from 2012. 2013 18 among the top 50 enterprises from the United States.

Cisco patents obtained in 2013 fell, only 885, 7% lower than per cent in 2012, also rank fell from 31st to 40th place. Alcatel-Lucent fell out of top 50, dropped from the 2012 2013 year of 54th place.

Intel was among the top 50, based on 1455 patents ranked 18th. HP ranked 19th, 2013 obtained 1360 United States patents. IFI Claims Patent Services的数据显示，IBM去年共计获得6809项美国专利，较去年的6478项增加5%。

排名第二的是三星电子，该公司2013年共获得4675项美国专利。佳能以3825项位居第三，其次分别为索尼(3098项)、微软(2660项)、松下(2601项)、东芝(2416项)、鸿海(2279项)、高通(2103项)和LG电子(1947项)。

谷歌去年获得的美国专利数增长60%，达到1851项，排名也从2012年的第21位上升到2013年的第11位。谷歌2012年首次跻身IFI排名的前50位，当时的专利数为1151项。

苹果公司2013年获得的美国专利数为1775项，位居第13位，排名远高于2011年的第39位。

IFI的报告显示，2013年的美国专利总数刷新历史记录。美国专利和商标局全年共计授予27.7835万项专利，较2012年增长10%。2013年跻身前50的企业有18家来自美国。

思科2013年获得的专利数出现下滑，仅为885项，较2012年的951项减少7%，排名也从第31位下滑到第40位。阿尔卡特-朗讯则跌出前50，从2012年的第49位降至2013年的第54位。

英特尔也跻身前50，以1455项专利位居第18位。惠普位列第19位，2013年获得1360项美国专利。黑莓仅次于惠普，位列第20位，成为跻身前50的唯一一家加拿大公司。黑莓2013年的美国专利数为1334项，较2012年上升9位。
