　　1月2日上午9时许，高州市宝光街道新塘村新屋、月塘、禾仓、新塘四个村小组组长和一名村民代表一行五人来到宝光街道新塘村陈坑岭一建设项目土方开挖现场，称用地权属不清，阻止施工方施工。施工方报警，高州市公安局河西派出所随即派员前往现场劝导。经劝导，施工方停止施工。期间，禾仓村小组组长黄某友通过手机通知禾仓小组代表黄某贵(男，59岁，宝光街道办新塘禾仓村人)到现场。10时39分左右，黄某贵爬上陈坑岭山头，突然晕倒在地。现场人员马上报120急救中心，并采取急救措施。经抢救无效，黄某贵死亡。

　　1月3日上午8时左右，高州市宝光街道办及市民政局殡改执法人员到陈坑岭山上准备将死者尸体运走时，遭到死者家属和部分村民阻挠，他们手持木棍、玻璃瓶等阻碍运走尸体。部分村民还到宝光街道办聚集，砸烂街道办大门，围攻街道干部，并在街道办门口上香、焚烧纸钱、燃放鞭炮。当日上午10时，宝光街道办工作人员报警，高州市公安局接警后组织巡警、联防队员共40人到现场维持秩序、清理现场等，遭到一些村民手持木棍、玻璃瓶等暴力抗拒，同时遭到一批不明身份的人殴打，致2名民警及6名联防队员受轻微伤。

　　为避免事态进一步恶化，高州市公安局立即采取措施，将参与打人的为首者黄某富、黄某海、张某成、张某全等10人抓获。事后，殡改执法人员才得以将尸体运走。

　　经审查和调查取证，黄某富、黄某海、张某成、张某全等10人对其妨害公务的犯罪事实供认不讳。目前，该10人中有8人已被依法刑事拘留，2人被监视居住。案件仍在进一步调查之中。

　　事件中，两名村民受伤，其中一人肋骨轻微骨折，另一人多处软组织挫伤。受伤村民已得到及时医治。
