　　新华网合肥1月6日电(记者朱青) 记者从安徽省芜湖市政府了解到，1月5日8时40分许，沪渝高速G50线宣城至芜湖方向发生4车追尾的交通事故，造成7人丧生的惨剧。

　　据了解，由于当时大雾天气高速能见度较低，3辆牌照号分别为豫B8888、沪D33548、豫DG2523的大型货车以及一辆牌照号为皖AX2401的小型面包车发生追尾事故。面包车上7人全部不幸遇难。

　　事故的具体原因正在进一步调查中。
