　　中新网1月2日电 据中央电视台新闻中心“央视新闻”官方微博消息，近日，河南巩义竹林镇一煤矿发生安全生产事故，多人遇难，矿长却说是“无稽之谈”，当地安监局和煤炭管理局都表示“没听说”。记者向当地煤管局举报的第6天，当地宣传部门才给记者发短信称事故造成7人死亡，9人受伤。

　　12月22日11时10分左右，河南大峪沟煤业集团炭煤矿东翼采煤队井下发生一起透水事故，16人被困。经紧急抢险救援，在当天13时左右，被困的16人全部升井并送往医院抢救。其中7人抢救无效陆续死亡，疑似一氧化碳中毒，受伤的9人中，4人已出院，其他5人在医院继续接受治疗。目前，该矿已被责令停产整顿。

　　2013年12月31日，巩义市政府向河南省安监局等部门上报了核查报告，1日，由河南煤矿安全监察局郑州监察分局牵头的事故调查组已经进驻巩义，就事故原因、上报时间、程序等问题展开全面调查。
