　　中新网西安1月1日电 (记者冽玮 冀浩凡)陕西省汉中市政府新闻办1日晚向记者证实，2013年12月30日上午，汉中市卫生局干部张某在家中自杀身亡。张某涉嫌挪用公款1000万元，9月4日汉中市检察院对张某以涉嫌挪用公款罪刑事拘留。11月21日汉中市人民检察院向汉中市中级人民法院依法提起公诉，即将开庭审理。

　　汉中市政府提供的情况通报称，张某，男，现年44岁。生前曾任汉中市红十字会办公室副主任、市卫生局医政科负责人。

　　2013年8月，汉中市纪委调查发现汉中市红十字会办公室原副主任张某存在利用职务之便，涉嫌挪用公款1000万元的问题。8月20日，市纪委正式对张某违纪问题立案调查。经查，2010年11月17日，张某填写了市红十字会转账支票并加盖印章，从市红十字会账户中将1000万元通过银行转入其弟开办的公司为其验资，致使该笔资金脱离监管8天时间，后该资金转回市红十字会账户。

　　鉴于张某违纪问题已经涉嫌犯罪，2013年8月27日，汉中市纪委研究将有关资料和案件线索移送汉中市人民检察院，汉中市人民检察院于9月3日正式立案侦查，9月4日市检察院对张某以涉嫌挪用公款罪刑事拘留，9月14日对其取保候审，10月16日该案侦查终结，11月21日汉中市人民检察院向汉中市中级人民法院依法提起公诉，法院即将进行开庭审理。

　　2013年12月30日11时30分左右，张某在家中自杀身亡。经汉中市汉台公安分局尸检，张某系本人用锐器刺伤两侧腹股沟，造成腹股沟动脉血管破裂致急性失血性休克死亡。

　　目前，善后处理工作正在进行中。(完)
