28日上午，由哈尔滨开往上海的高速动车G1202次于哈尔滨西站正式开通发车，列车预计经过13小时后将于当晚抵达上海虹桥车站。
据悉，此次哈尔滨至上海段的直通高铁开通，也同时创造了三项世界高铁运行纪录；哈沪高铁通车后将成为世界范围内高速铁路直通里程最长的线路，总长度为2421公里；同时哈沪高铁也是目前世界上通行气温反差最大和穿越气候带最多的高铁线路，12小时内跨越3个气候带，温差接近30摄氏度。
据介绍，此次哈沪高铁所使用的是之前哈大高铁所使用的CRH380B型高寒动车的升级版，由长春轨道客车股份有限公司自主设计研发，在之前哈大高铁运行试验的基上进行了高寒过渡基数调整，是目前世界上首款在实际运用环境温差达到80摄氏度环境中运用的时速300公里的高速动车组。
哈尔滨铁路部门介绍，今年12月28日之前，哈尔滨直达上海只有一趟既有线快速旅客列车，运行时间近32个小时，常年客流紧张，特别是春运期间更是求大于供，哈尔滨西至上海虹桥高铁列车将极大缓解2014年春运旅客运输压力。明年哈大高铁实行夏季运行图后，哈尔滨至上海、北京、天津、青岛等各车次动车组列车还将进一步压缩运行时间，为广大旅客提供更加快捷便利的出行选择。
