　　新华网北京12月27日电(记者 白靖利)中国社会科学院社会学研究所青少年与社会问题研究室主编的《境遇、态度与社会转型——80后青年的社会学研究》27日在京发布，该书结合多个大型数据库，涉及在校大学生、毕业生等多个群体，涵盖教育、就业、文化、消费等专题，从社会学视角对“80后”青年在社会转型背景下进行全面呈现。

　　作为深受中国转型历程形塑的一代，“80后”也是独生子女的第一代。“与前几代人相比，他们拥有更高的教育程度、更多的人在非公机构就业并处于流动状态、更擅长使用互联网获取和交流信息。”本书主编、中国社科院社会学所研究员李春玲认为，这些特征与中国迈向现代化的转型进程密不可分。

　　根据该书对独生子女的分析表明，房租和房贷在日常支出所占的高比例，体现了“80后”年轻群体沉重的生活压力；而面对逐年加大的就业压力和“文凭贬值”，不少人深陷理想与现实之间的泥沼。

　　李春玲认为，家庭背景对青年群体的成长影响很大，“拼爹”确有其事，挑战着我们传统文化中“知识改变命运”的惯常思维。该书通过对985高校在校生经济生活条件、学业成绩、社会交往和就业预期的数据分析表明，知识只能在程度上改变命运。“他们的起点并不完全平等，不仅进入大学的机会不同，而且进入精英大学后适应能力依旧受到家庭经济和社会地位的隐形制约。”李春玲说。

　　作为一本从社会学角度解读“80后”的文集，《境遇、态度与社会转型——80后青年的社会学研究》细致展现了这代人对国家前途充满信心，但又对社会及自身的现状抱有诸多不满；他们希望以个人努力改变命运，又无法逃离更大社会力量的左右。
