新华网武汉12月23日电(何长青 俞俭) 记者23日从湖北省荆门市沙洋县获悉，荆门市熊兴化工有限公司职工杨某因涉嫌以危险方法危害公共安全，被警方刑拘，带入山东协助调查“夺命快递”案件。同时，湖北省邮政管理局依法吊销了沙洋运通物流有限公司的快递业务经营许可证。
11月27日，位于沙洋经济开发区的熊兴化工有限公司职工杨某，经沙洋运通物流有限公司(圆通速递加盟公司)，向山东潍坊某制药厂快递氟乙酸甲酯样品。快件从沙洋发往山东潍坊后，在潍坊分拨中心发生泄漏，导致数人中毒、部分快件受到污染。
11月29日，受污染快件照常投送，山东广饶县一刘姓男子在收到网购童鞋几小时后，出现呕吐、腹痛等症状，当天因抢救无效身亡。据初步诊断，刘某死于氟乙酸甲酯中毒。
12月20日，山东省邮政管理局通报称，“夺命快递”已导致1人死亡、9人不同程度中毒。
据介绍，氟乙酸甲酯虽不属于《危险化学品名录》(2002版)中的危险化学品，但具有易燃特性，刺激人的眼睛、呼吸系统和皮肤，曾出现过致人死亡的极端案例。
