As smart phones increasingly intense market competition and shrinking profit margins, some companies have started a new industry to broaden income sources, Samsung is one of them. According to the Wall Street Journal reported that Samsung recently presented a number of EV related patent documents, suggesting the company will focus on electric vehicles in the future.

据了解，三星向美国和韩国提交了多份电动汽车专利申请，其中包括发动机、车载电子装置和轮胎等，专利中还描述三星计划“基于驾驶者的个人信息打造最佳的驾驶条件”。而三星方面承认申请多项专利，但表示公司并不打算推出电动汽车。

即便如此，仍有消息表示三星今后很有可能会进入电动汽车领域。三星目前正积极开辟市场寻求新的利润增长点，而电动汽车又是时下一个热门的新兴市场，三星未必不会尝试。
