　　中新网成都12月17日电(记者刘忠俊)记者17凌晨从四川甘孜州委获悉，该州州委常委、宣传部长毕世祥同志前往新龙县开展群众工作，在翻越海拔4412米的高尔寺山时，因冰雪道路发生车祸，因公殉职，终年53岁。

　　据了解，12月16日上午9时50分，甘孜州委常委、宣传部长毕世祥等3人从康定前往新龙县开展群众工作，在翻越国道318线康定县境内海拔4412米的高尔寺山时，因大雪道路结冰严重发生事故，毕世祥同志因公殉职，另2人受伤。

　　接到事故报告，正在雅江县调研的中共甘孜州委书记胡昌升、组织部长陈忠义以及州政府州长益西达瓦分别赶赴现场，了解事故原因，全力救治伤员，同时前往毕世祥同志家中亲切看望和慰问家属。

　　据介绍，毕世祥1960年6月出生于丹巴县，毕业于西南民族大学政史系，1982年7月参加工作，1984年8月加入中国共产党。先后在甘孜州直属党委、甘孜州直属团委、康定民族师范专科学校团委、康定县委宣传部、甘孜县委、甘孜州外贸局、甘孜州旅游局、甘孜州政府、甘孜州委宣传部等部门工作。

　　事故发生后，中共四川省委书记王东明代表省委向毕世祥同志家人以及受伤人员表示了问候，并要求千方百计救治伤者。四川省政府省长魏宏，省委常委、组织部长范锐平，省委常委、省农工委主任李昌平，省委常委、宣传部长吴靖平等也通过各种形式向毕世祥同志的家人表示了慰问。

　　目前，2名伤者正在甘孜州人民医院救治，相关善后等工作正在有序展开。(完)
