　　21时，嫦娥三号开始720秒动力下降。探测器从距月面15公里处实施动力下降，相对速度将从每秒1.7公里逐渐减为0。

　　落月前，“玉兔”月球车本身并不工作。前期飞行、动力下降及实施软着陆过程，均由着陆器完成。到达月球后，着陆器将释放出月球车，各自在月面开展探测任务。
