公众对于富人、名人可以通过财富来规避许多问题，而产生情绪很正常。桑德尔举例说，不少人因为生活拮据而放弃生孩子，其实最好的情况并不应这样。“决定一个人生多生少，不应在于钱多钱少，关键在于对孩子的感情与爱”。桑德尔说。
