　　当地村民告诉记者，12月4日晚，在观音堂乡琉璃堂村，一家露天采煤企业工人施工过程中，挖到几个罐，其中一个罐体被挖破，罐中施发出的气体将现场施工的工人熏倒，被紧急送宝丰人民医院救治。5日上午，因当地大风，致不明气体被扩散，周边十余人感觉不适，遂到观音堂卫生院、宝丰县人民医院救治。

　　5日中午，采矿企业组织人员试图将不明罐体送到他处理，车行至观音堂乡胡沟村一小桥时，又破损一罐，有毒气体再次泄露。相关人员上报县政府后，县政府立即组织公安、消防、安监、卫生等十余辆消防车、120救护车赶赴现场救援，并紧急疏散当地群众和学校师生。
