　　据惠州市政府官方网站公布的简历，邓炳球在1974年9月参加工作后，长期任职于惠东县(市)。曾任惠东县白花莆田中学教师，白花公社(区)党委办资料员、林业助理、团委副书记，白花镇党委宣传委员，松坑乡党委副书记，松坑乡党委书记，大岭镇党委书记，县委宣传部副部长、宣教系统党委副书记，县委常委、县政府党组成员，县委常委、组织部长。
