三星电子首度工程师、博士，W3C HTML5韩国主席李元硕（音）在“HTML5技术融合论坛”上表示：Tizen必须与Firefox OS共同努力、互相帮助，处理好与Firefox OS社区的关系。

Tizen和Firefox OS使用相同的HTML5技术进行应用开发，如此他们能够拥有相同的生态系统发展模式。用HTML5开发的应用，能够同时在Firefox OS和Tizen上使用。

Tizen是基于Linux、WebKit以及其他开源技术，支持Native应用，同时也支持HTML5技术，不仅可用于移动设备如平板和手机，也可用在汽车和家电上。而Firefox OS则更有针对性的用于入门级功能手机上。

三星和Mozilla当前正在Servo的开发上进行合作，这是一个开放源码的浏览器渲染引擎，这些努力是为了适应现代化硬件而重建一个全新web浏览器，最大化的利用硬件的性能使网络更加丰富。Servo的目标是取代当前的WebKit引擎。
