　　中午12时24分，宁波鄞州消防官兵在接到报警后，立即调派三辆消防车赶赴现场进行救援。

　　12时34分，消防官兵赶到现场时发现，煤气管道泄漏点位于医院的北门内。此时，泄漏点的煤气正发出“咝咝”的声音，消防官兵立即对围观的群众进行劝说离开，并组织出两只水枪对泄漏点进行稀释。10分钟后，煤气公司到达现场关闭了阀门。消防人员则在煤气公司关闭管道之后，依然对其进行稀释，直到探测仪煤气浓度降到安全值，才结束。
