　　据介绍，12日下午5时29分，有人发现一男子倒卧在湘潭市政府办公楼B栋东台绿化带内，地上有血迹，即向负责办公楼管理的物业公司报告。物管人员到现场后立即报警并拨打120急救电话。十分钟后，公安人员和120急救中心医护人员赶到现场。经检查，该男子已无生命体征。

　　经查证，死者名叫王检忠，是湘潭市恒盾集团有限公司董事长，该公司为湘潭市雨湖区的民营企业。记者了解到，作为民营企业家，王检忠在当地有一定影响，其经营的公司是农业产业化重点龙头企业。
