近日登上中央电视台《经济半小时》的广东电商明星——揭阳军埔村，以独特的方式拉开了“双十一”促销活动的帷幕。昨晚，“军埔电商村网络欢乐节”举行，标志着揭阳市军埔电商村“双十一”千家网店“好礼”进万家促销活动正式启动，活动将从11月6日持续到13日。

据了解，在各级党政的引导和帮助下，军埔电商村发展势头迅猛，短短4个多月的时间里，全村490多户、2600多人中已有350多户、1400多人投入网上销售活动。现有淘宝网店1350多家、实体店38家，网上销售的产品主要是服装、自行车、皮具、电器、五金、玩具等。据统计，在网购高峰期，全村淘宝店网上交易额超1亿元，数字仍在刷新中。

据有关方面统计，揭阳目前共有专业电子商务服务企业40多家，应用电子商务的规模以上生产、加工和商贸流通企业1000多家。2011年，揭阳被广东省定为“智慧广东”建设示范试点城市。全市网民规模目前已达到292万人，居全省第7位；互联网普及率达到49.7%，网络购物普及率达到32.5%，一大批企业相继建立了公司产品网站或借助第三方平台开展网上交易。
