龚爱爱原是陕西神木县农村商业银行副行长、榆林市人大代表，因在北京、西安、神木等地拥有多处房产，被称为“房姐”。
9月24日上午，龚爱爱案在靖边县人民法院公开开庭审理。公诉方认为，龚爱爱的行为构成伪造、买卖国家机关证件罪，建议对其判处2年6个月至3年有期徒刑。
9月29日上午，靖边县人民法院对被告人龚爱爱伪造、买卖国家机关证件一案公开宣判，以伪造、买卖国家机关证件罪判处其有期徒刑三年。靖边县法院一审判决认定，被告人龚爱爱在已有合法户籍和身份证的情况下，2005年在北京购房时付款30万元通过售楼人员为本人及其女儿购买北京市户籍。

据陕西省榆林市中级人民法院消息，被告人龚爱爱伪造、买卖国家机关证件案，陕西省靖边县人民法院于2013年9月29日一审宣判后，被告人不服一审判决，在上诉期限内，通过靖边县人民法院向榆林市中级人民法院递交上诉状，榆林市中级人民法院依法决定予以受理。
