本报济南10月22日讯(记者 杨凡 实习生 刘侠 王昭钧) 22日，中共中央组织部有关部门负责同志在山东大学宣布了中共中央的任免决定，张荣担任山东大学校长(副部长级)；因另有任用，徐显明不再担任山东大学校长职务。教育部党组副书记、副部长杜玉波以及山东省有关领导同志出席宣布大会并讲话。
张荣，男，1964年2月出生，1984年6月入党，1986年8月参加工作，南京大学半导体专业在职博士研究生毕业。曾任南京大学党委副书记、副校长，2010年4月至今任南京大学常务副校长。

拜别山大
在22日下午的中央任免决定宣布大会上，卸任山大校长的徐显明和就任山大校长的张荣分别作了讲话。
“再过15天，就是我在山大任校长满5年的日子。”徐显明用两次深鞠躬，拜别前后工作了21年的山东大学。
临别之际，他用四句话表达对山大的感情。第一句是大学精神是大学的第一财富。他认为，像山大这样的百年老校，守护大学精神是校长的基本职责。创新是大学的灵魂，守成则是大学的脚跟。校长的一项重要任务，是做象牙塔尖上的哨兵。
第二句话是，功成不必在我，但功成必在大家。第三句话他送给新任山大校长张荣，他从办学传统的角度提到，南京大学与山东大学有很多历史渊源，“张校长年富力强，比5年前我来山大的时候还小两岁，希望大家能像支持我一样支持张校长。”
最后，徐显明透露，他的新工作仍没离开教育，他的根在山大，心在山东，魂在教育。“我离开了大学，但是我离不开教育。”
