2013年是北京开始在35个空气质量监测站监测PM2.5等5项污染物质的“元年”，北京发布了《2013年至2017年清洁空气行动计划》。北京市环境保护局今天召开新闻发布会，通报2013年全年北京空气质量状况。
北京市环保局环保监测中心主任张大伟介绍，空气质量总体情况：一至六级天数分别为41、135、84、47、45和13天。
张大伟介绍，2013年北京全年一级、二级天即优良天全年共176天，占48.2%。五级、六级重污染天加起来共58天，占15.9%。“这也就是说，每六到七天就有一次重污染天，出现频率较高。”
据介绍，超标污染日中的首要污染物为PM2.5，占77.8%；臭氧，占20.1%，主要发生在5-9月即夏季，高浓度时段集中于午后至傍晚；其他污染物(PM10、NO2仅占2.1%)。(完)
