　　新华网兰州4月29日电（记者?范培珅）记者从兰州市有关部门获悉，4月28日晚11时30分许，兰州地铁1号线施工工地东方红广场段发生塌方事故，造成2名工人被埋。

　　事故发生后，消防救援人员赶到现场开展紧急搜救，但遗憾的是，被埋压的两位工人挖出后经抢救无效死亡。

　　据参加救援人员介绍，事故发生时，工人正在兰州地铁1号线施工工地东方红广场段进行污水管道改造作业，两名工人在沟道内准备铺设管道时发生塌方。现场开挖的沟道深约3米，塌方土方将沟道掩埋近一半深。
