　　冷战结束以来，美国一直是最具进攻性的国家，习惯了威胁或打击军事上的弱小者，如海地、塞尔维亚、阿富汗、伊拉克、利比亚、伊斯兰国……但往往结局不理想，有些甚至(令美国)丢人现眼。

　　若与中国开战，结果会坏得多。中国拥有核武，尽管数量远少于美国，却足以对任何被打击国家造成大规模破坏。解放军可不是一碰就倒的对手，中国太大了，不可能征服、占领和重塑。

　　国际环境对美国称霸也不利。奥巴马政府彻底改变尼克松对华的战略大开放，结果把俄中推到一起一致对美。同时，美国盟友和中国邻国并不热衷于对华冲突。更糟的是，即便美国胜出，也会埋下未来冲突的隐患。
