　　中新网昆明6月3日电 (记者 胡远航)记者3日从云南省林业厅获悉，云南昭通疑似“大熊猫”经专家签定为红白鼯鼠。

　　6月2日下午，云南省昭通市彝良县牛街镇发现疑似“大熊猫”。接报后，云南省林业厅迅速组织专家组赴现地调查核实。专家组于3日凌晨3点到达现场，经中国科学院昆明动物研究所、云南濒科委司法鉴定中心主任王文智仔细识别该动物形态特征后，确认是啮齿目鼯鼠红白鼯鼠。

　　专家解释，红白鼯鼠适应夜行弱光环境，进化出较大眼睛。加之发现时距离较远，初始正面照被民众误认为“大熊猫”。

　　红白鼯鼠分布于南亚、东南亚和中国西南部，包括川、黔、滇、桂和陕西南部地区，属于国家保护的有益的或者有重要经济价值、科学研究价值的野生动物。(完)
