　　记者了解到，事故发生在横沙岛东侧靠江的一处围垦工地中。今晨7时15分许，一辆卡车在江边不慎追尾撞上一辆吊车后，翻落江中。事发后，边防、警方、横 沙消防中队先后赶到现场，从水中救出13人。据了解，其中1人死亡，2人重伤。现场人士称，事发地交通不便，车辆很难行驶，一度惊动警用直升机增援。

　　据悉，卡车翻落处江水不深，目前落水卡车已被拉至岸边。相关方面对此事还在进一步调查处理中。
