河南新县境内交通事故致9人死亡

　　新华社郑州5月14日电（记者甘泉）记者从河南新县获悉，5月14日13时25分左右，国道G230新县金兰山街道办事处山石门段发生一起较大道路交通事故，目前已经造成9人死亡。

　　据悉，事故原因为牌号为豫AE6067的货车与对向而行的牌号为豫S91138的中型客车相撞，现场造成6人死亡，24人不同程度受伤。伤者在新县人民医院救治过程中又有3人死亡。目前，肇事司机已被公安机关控制，事故处理相关工作正在进行。
